New Job!!

I start my new job at Target tomorrow. I'll be working in a department store......just like Ash.

Ash: Lady, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave the store.
Possessed woman: Who the hell are you?
Ash: Name's Ash.
[cocks rifle]
Ash: Housewares.

Ash: [voiceover] Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I *am* king.
[Ash grabs girl close]
Ash: Hail to the king, baby.
[Ash kisses the girl]

Wish me luck.....

One for each day of the week.

(because sometimes Sunday night feels like traveling back in time and repeating the same thing you did last week over again....sometimes.)

Big Bang

Astrophysicist Janne Levin explains to you what the Big Bang was.

The 11th Doctor!

Actually it's just wishful thinking. I am however glad to see that I'm not the only person who thinks Johnny Depp would make a excellent Doctor.

I mean come on. He's already got the wardrobe!!

El Hombre Lobo!!

I'm am way too giddy for this movie. I'm usually violently resistant to remakes but I am a huge fan of Werewolves and it's been awhile since they made an even half-way decent one.

Season 4 is coming.....

Now as some of you may or may not know, I have (what some call) an obsession with the Marvel character Tigra. So much so that I almost became her stalker in the comic books. Plans fell through and it never happened. Le Sigh.

So why am I telling you this? Because I want you to understand how I felt when I found this unpublished work by Halo & Sprocket creator Kerry Callen.
In 6 short pages Kerry sums up the frustration and acceptance of not only the frisky feline female lead, but also fans like myself left asking, "Why doesn't she have her own book?"

I have a thing for psychos.

I must have this Scarlet Witch Comiquette designed by Mark Brooks. Just another reason to hate not having a job right now......anyways it's 204.99 and available at Sideshow Collectibles.
Le sigh.

My prayers answered!!

I just got this sweet e-mail........

"The wait is finally over! The Aquaman Costume Hooded Sweatshirt is finally in stock and ready to buy thanks to your promise to buy one! We are proud to present this product because it's the first time where our customers got together to turn a prototype into a real product by sheer force of will. If it was not for die hard Aquaman fans like yourself this product would not have been made!"

Thank you household gods!!!

Monkey Business

I'm pretty sure this is what brought about the "Planet of the Apes".
First their serving us drinks and in a few years they will be our trusted nannies before you know it you'll be screaming "Get your filthy paws off me you damn dirty ape!!!"

Blackest Night #2

Another awesome cover.

Samurai Hulk SMASH!?

Here's the cover to Strange Tales #3, hitting stores in November, done by none other than the creator of Usagi Yojimbo Stan Sakai.
This is like getting an ice cream cone with my 3 favorite flavors; Hulk, Samurai, and Sakai.

Update: Iron-Man 2 trailer

Figures as soon as I post it it's taken down. Here's another. Hope you see it before they take this one down.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. It is Terry Gilliam with Heath Ledger's final performance, plus Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law.
Just from the trailer it feels very "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen"

Iron-Man 2 trailer!!

It's from comic-con 2009 and bad quality.........but still awesome!!!

This gave me a slight nerdgasm.

Thundercats HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Here a piece of concept art from the "Thundercats" movie that will probably never be........and below is how I wish the "Thundercats" movie would be.
