Avengers Assembled!?

So hopefully, by this time, everyone has seen the Avengers movie...if you haven't stop reading this and go see it. No spoilers here. I just want you to do yourself a favor and go see it. You owe it to your inner 10 year old, unless your inner 10 year old is a royal douche like most kids today, in that case go see it to reward yourself for having to deal with that prick...but I digress.
I have seen it 3 times...and that is a lot from me. I generally don't go out to movies because for the price I pay at the theater I can wait 6 months and own the movie at about the same price. That being said...3 times and hoping to make it 6. Now to show my excitement I have decided to start casting some of the other characters I want to see on the big screen. So with out further ado...

Eva Mendes as Tigra
I have been begging for this for years! Seriously...2005. I really can't tell you why, other than I have a thing for both Tigra and Eva Mendes. I'm pretty sure this would make my head explode...double entendre intended.
Please Hollywood. Make this happen.

Ryan Gosling as Iron Fist
I really don't feel like I need to explain this one either...have you seen Drive? No? Okay. But you couldn't help but hear everyone talk about him last year, yeah? No. what do you live in a barn? Never mind. Watch Drive and then you'll believe me.

Morena Baccarin as Wasp
What can I say?
She's beautiful, sassy, and has a history with Joss Whedon.

 Angie Harmon as She-Hulk
She's beautiful, strong, and funny. She has gone on record that she would love to play She-Hulk.
Plus she has a pretty good knowledge of She-Hulk and has no problem with the costume.

Clark Gregg as Vision
They could bring his consciousness back in the Vision robot.
We would at least get our beloved Agent Coulson back in some form.

That's it. There are plenty other Avengers, but these are a few I would like to see.

Must See TV!!!

So in the last year I have had plenty of time to watch TV.
Some of the things I've seen I rather wish I hadn't.......a bit like walking in on your parents doing the beast with two backs.
But there are a lot that have now made my regular viewing list.

Here are my top 5 must see TV.

There are a ton of paranormal shows on TV right now, and I hate to say it, but their all the same........except for this one.
From the first episode I watched I was hooked. It actually gave me what the other shows didn't, actual evidence. Now I know. Your thinking "all of that crap is fake anyways". Maybe so....but they fake it well.
Zak, Nick, and Aaron also make it fun. It's like going out to a haunted house with your 3 best friends. Their not afraid to show that their afraid.......and it makes you laugh.

Let me just start out by saying it's good to see Chevy Chase being funny again.
A friend of mine recommended this show to me. I still owe her for that.
The entire cast complements each others comic abilities. It's like watching a comedic ballet. Plus the writing is superb.
The writers are able to make constant pop culture references without feeling like it's being crammed down your throat.

I have a big problem with cop/mystery TV. I've usually solved the case while the main character is still collecting evidence. I'm not being smug. I just happen to have been the kid that was reading Sherlock Holmes while the other kids were stuck on Curious George... okay I am being smug.
But when it came to Psych I had a hard time really focusing on the clues because the two main characters keep you in stitches. Just like "Community" the cast and writing are dead on perfect. The selling point for me is that although I might still figure out the "case" before they do....it's not the destination as much as the journey.

I came in really late with this show. Thankfully there is at least one channel or another running marathons.
As I mentioned before I like Sherlock Holmes and oddly enough the character of House is based on Dr. Joseph Bell.....the doctor Sir Arthur Conan Doyle based Holmes on. Plus as I mentioned I usually solve the mysteries within 15 minutes. This being a medical show....I'm completely in the dark!
Just remember....it's hardly ever Lupus....

#1. Sherlock

Of course it's the best thing I've seen all year! It's Sherlock Holmes updated for the 20th century. Written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss both from Doctor Who.
The 1st season was only 3 episodes but it was enough to get picked up for a 2nd season. I could gush about this show all night but I think it's better if you discover it for yourself.
It's available on DVD.

Top 5 "Doctors" in science ficton.

These are just 5 of my personal favorites......

No. 5
Dr. Zaius

“Beware the beast ‘man’ for he is the devil’s pawn. Alone among God’s primates, he kills for sport, for lust, for greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother’s land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.”

N0. 4
Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy

"You can never trust anybody, and people who look like pointy-eared hobgoblins are definitely at the bottom of the list. "

No. 3
Dr. Henry " Indiana" Jones Jr.

"Archaeology is the search for fact... not truth. If it's truth you're looking for, Dr. Tyree's philosophy class is right down the hall. "

No. 2
Dr. Gaius Baltar

Look, it's not magic, it's science. If you want my result, you're gonna have to wait a while.

No. 1
The Doctor

"Do you know like we were saying? About the Earth revolving? It's like when you're a kid. The first time they tell you that the Earth's turning and you just can't believe it because everything looks like it's standing still. I can feel it: the turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. And the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67,000 thousand miles an hour and I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me. Clinging to the skin of this tiny little world and if we let go... that's who I am. Now forget me, Rose Tyler. Go home."
